What we believe

The same coffee from two roasteries tastes like two different journeys. We believe both are worth discovering.

Most subscriptions send you beans. We send you stories: the country where they grew, and the hands that picked them. Two maps in every cup.

How it all began

One bean, two espressos.

It all started with a single batch — and two completely different espressos. The same Ethiopian bean, roasted once in Oslo and once in Lisbon. We could hardly believe it was meant to be the same coffee.

That surprise turned into a question: why does an espresso lover in the German-speaking world never get to see these roasteries? So we brought them to us.

Ever since, every four weeks we pack two original bags into one box — never repacked, always with the story behind them. Not a catalogue, but a curated journey.

We follow competitions, cuppings and word-of-mouth from the scene. Exciting means a voice of its own, not the biggest name.

Every candidate goes into the portafilter, not just the filter. If it doesn't hold up as an espresso, it doesn't make the box.

Which origin they roast is up to the roastery. From their lineup, we pick the roasts that go into your box.
